I did this in one setting (like the majority of my work). I just wanted to paint an old man smoking. I like whne old men smoke. I mean, what do they got to lose?

it's great. I love monochromatics it has a gritty almost film like qulity the only critisim I'm capable at my level is that perhaps it would look better if the pupils were more defined. he looks a little fish eyed it's distracting from the overall feel for me anyway...

I can see what you are saying. I almost didnt include the eyes at all and just had blacked out spaces.
